DAY 01 Paro to Jele Dzong Begin the Mountain Journey +
Begin the Druk Path adventure from Paro and gradually climb away from the valley into Bhutan's mountain landscape.
The trail passes through forested terrain as you gain elevation and leave the settlements below. Continue towards the Jele Dzong area, where the first camp introduces you to the peaceful atmosphere of Bhutan's highlands.
DAY 02 Jele Dzong to Jangchulakha Forests & Highland Trails +
Continue along the mountain trail through forests and open highland terrain.
As the route rises and falls across the landscape, enjoy changing views of the surrounding valleys and mountains before reaching the Jangchulakha area for the next overnight camp.
DAY 03 Jangchulakha to Jimilang Tsho Mountain Lake Country +
Trek deeper into the highlands as the route leads towards the beautiful Jimilang Tsho area.
This section offers a memorable combination of mountain scenery and peaceful wilderness. Arrive near the lake and settle into camp surrounded by the quiet landscape.
DAY 04 Jimilang Tsho to Simkotra Lakes, Passes & Wilderness +
Leave Jimilang Tsho and continue through the remote mountain landscape towards Simkotra.
The trail crosses high terrain and passes through beautiful natural surroundings, offering another full day immersed in Bhutan's wilderness.
DAY 05 Simkotra to Thimphu Highlands Final High-Mountain Crossing +
Continue across the final high sections of the Druk Path, enjoying broad views across the surrounding mountains and valleys.
The landscape gradually begins to change as the trail approaches the Thimphu side of the route. Spend the final trekking night surrounded by the highland scenery.
DAY 06 Descend to Thimphu Complete the Druk Path Trek +
Begin the final descent from the highlands towards the Thimphu Valley.
Complete the mountain crossing and meet your vehicle for the transfer into Thimphu, marking the end of the Druk Path trekking journey.
